“Since Kerry studied electrical engineering at the University of Sydney and did not have the opportunity to wear a lab coat during his studies or at his current job at Sydney Trains, I wanted to give him the opportunity to wear a lab coat.

Since Kerry studied electrical engineering and work with Sydney Trains, I developed a pattern which signifies an electrical circuit. I then made that circuit into the shape of a leaf to represent clean and sustainable energy and electricity as this was one of the topic Kerry and I discussed in our first meeting. Kerry loves his job and I wanted to design a lab coat that reflects his profession in the most playful way.

A plain white stand collar was chosen to bring design minimalism. French cuffs were chosen to all more formality and design aesthetic to the piece. Plain white sleeves were gathering at the sleeve head were designed to illustrate the elements of balance and harmony to the lab coat and also create a sense of contrast.”
